From the very beginning, CKRSDs prime objective is to study and research on the Koch Rajbanshi community of South Asia. The rich history and culture, as well their present socio-political crisis has been studied enough by the mainstream scholars. This is due to their unfortunate peripheral positioning in present South Asia. Their lack of importance in the mainstream West Bengal, Bangladesh, Assam and Meghalaya has resulted academic negligence. Hence, CKRSD has devoted on various studies, academic research and field reports on the history, heritage and present Socio- Economical condition of the Koch Rajbanshi People.

It is observed that , lots of research activities are being taken up in various regions where our community people lives. to restore old histories , old manuscripts , old literature s, to recover Our original language etc.
As our community people are living in different politically bounded regions , their present spoken and as well as written forms uses fonts, based on the local surroundings/Conditions. For example , The R & D activities that are going on Bengal region obviously uses Bengali fonts, while those at Nepal and Bihar region uses Devanagari Fonts , while In Assam , Assamese fonts are being used.
We have unity in diversity. Our struggle for revival and restoration is still in nascent stage. we still have to do lots of ground work . Very often divisive forces , appears among us, which threaten unity in the community.
Thinking on line of the topic, the variation of fonts in languages that are being used in different region may some time become an issue, So, I feel if such an issue arises in future ,discussion on that should be postponed , as our basic issues confronting the community needs to be solved first.
Such issues should be discussed when we will overcome these initial confusions.
I strongly disagree that first and foremost transborder histories must be filtered of some kind of “confusion” as mentioned above. No part of that history is confusion—whats confusion is our mapping and the blind acceptance to post 1947 chronology. I think we can cut the chronology crap out and encourage whatever work is happening on whatever level (&pace). The deliberate and conscious silencing of heterogenous communities suits the narratives of nationalism(and subnationalism)– After all, this unity in diversity business helps achieve that precisely.
